Facebook pulled back the curtain on its latest creation last Tuesday as Mark Zuckerberg unveils the new search engine tool Graph Search which is sensational and quite different from the web search. The CEO also mentioned that it’s the third pillar of his Social Media Empire after News feed and Timeline.
Say what you want and get the results
The new search tool is meant to answer some of your important queries rather than offering links to web search queries. For example you can search for friends who like mountain tracking or ball room dancing. Photos work similarly returning answers to searches like finding images of friends before 2000 which is like a Google image search but only shows photos from your friends or photos made public by other users and its is organized or ranked on the basis of how many comments and likes were present.
Graph search also lets you search other things like what languages your friends speak or what Television shows or channels they like. Facebook also mentioned that users can only search the contents that have been shared with you.
The BEST Resource for the people all across the globe
With the launch of the new feature, you will get quick answers to your social queries where sometimes it’s impossible to get it from the internet or web search. From the best movies that you would want to see on the release day to a new locality where you may be hunting for a dentist due to a sudden tooth ache, the graph search does it all. You can also search the web from Facebook and the results are obtained from Bing.
Facebook has been more about socializing and communicating with friends or relatives that you know but now with this internal search engine you can find people of common interest or people that you should know for business or job aspect.
Makes the World feel bit smaller
Facebook is an ocean of information with its enormous user base and graph search. Face book’s third pillar is a new search engine tool that has its own Pros and Cons. This feature or product launched by the king of social networking will make the community feel a lot smaller and it’s just the beginning of a new era where people will easily get what they want and with accurate search results.
